All righty I have about 30 minutes before Jeopardy starts so I’m gonna go ahead and start this…I won’t finish it, but at least I’ll get a nice chunk of it done hopefully.
I like the establishing shots they have of Boston.
Hee Hee I like the shirt—“Stop destroying our planet. It’s where I keep my stuff.”
Oh man…not nice. Not a surprise, but not nice.
10 years worth of weekends.
“That’s the simple version?”
And Hardison translates
He lied. Why are y’all surprised he lied?
Live feed brought to you by Lucille.
“I thought we were supposed to hate the guys we took down?”
“It’s not a requirement. A perk.”
I love Sophie’s artsy persona here.
And Nate with his little baggie and his dirt.
Hee Hardison building the house. And Parker breaking into the planning office.
He bribes the clerk. Wow that is a hella big house.
And we’re in.
The room is the safe.
I like Parker’s glasses.
Turn the place into a smart house—hopefully it doesn’t have an attitude like S.A.R.A.H.
I love Hardison. Really. He’s awesome as a techy guy.
Eliot! As security and awkward. But he’s perfect as security.
“Who’s Molly?”
“My daughter. Don’t you guys ever read your files?”
Nice background there—and no I’m not looking at Eliot—the house and the backdrop.
I like this conversation—he’s trying to understand. And he does finally connect with her.
“Was Rudy on cable last night?”
Aaaand Eliot has no idea what she’s talking about.
Hardison asking Parker how she’s feeling…and he’s staring at her. Aaaawww.
She did the switch, but he took the glasses off! And Hardison talking to the Parker 2000.
Pissed off!Parker is amusing! “I’m a safe cracking device!”
“Told you not to call it Parker.”
I like Eliot teaching Molly how to break the balloons.
“You forgot to mention the need for talent.”
Oh man his charm extends to even teenage girls! 14 year old girls! That was hysterical. And poor Eliot having to go to the carnival.
ROTFL Nate telling Sophie not to hit him so hard.
Duuude can her skirt get any shorter? Sophie’s that is.
I love Parker getting so upset over the Parker 2000 and “I’m not working with her!”
Hee Hee hee! Eliot ending up with the little teddy bear!
*blinks* Wall of hemp? I’m not sure I want to know.
“Did she know that?”
“Yes, Parker, because I programed her.”
Eliot’s bus-ted—he got found out. I love “Either you’re talking on the phone or you’re schizophrenic.”
Eliot got distracted. Eliot never gets distracted.
The little bot cracked the safe! I love the “Whoa”.
Oh no. He lost sight of her. And now she’s gone! Okay this woman is way to overwrought.
Eliot…yelling at her, not exactly the best…yeah, it’s actually working.
Okay and that’s my pause because Jeopardy is going to start in a few minutes. I’ll be back once it’s over to finish up.
Okay I’m back. And I have blueberry shortcake sort of…so we’ll see how well this goes on doing the commentary and eating.
K&R for those of you who don’t know is kidnap and ransom.
“Nate, if I’m engaged?”
“Do your worst.”
*shivers* I love that.
Seriously. This? This is why you do not fuck with the Leverage team.
And yes! Yeah for Eliot breaking protocol and giving Molly an earbud.
Also I love, love, LOVE whoever filmed this. Because it is beautiful and awesome and perfect.
“I’m coming for you. Me.” Yes! That. That right there is why we love Eliot.
It amuses me how Russians equal snipers.
“Okay, Eliot, find the hottest liquid that isn’t water. Mix. And then run like hell.”
“Damn it, Hardison. A little warning next time.”
“Well, what’d ya think run like hell meant?”
*pause as I just watch them in all their bad-ass-ery*
Okay there are so many times when we get caught up in how they’re “good” now, but this, right here. These are bad people folks, and damn do they look it.
Also, I fully intend to make “We aim to misbehave” icons or headers or something from these smoke pictures…just gotta get the caps.
I love Hardison’s little recording and his hoodie and vest and everything.
Oh look, Connell grew a soul.
“I’m coming for you, Molly. Stay small and quiet. And if I say run. You run.”
I love the “little trouble.” That’s just…priceless.
Also it’s about time we got a FIGHT!
Oh no! EL-i-OT!
Nate bluffing. And dude guy with the gun.
Lucky guess my ass. They are very good at what they do.
Hi sniper dude. And Nate with the counting!
“I’d like to see Parker 2000 try that.” Bitchy Parker ftw!
Sophie, you are just not the most reassuring person. And nice job, Dad.
I would like to point out that Eliot has a concussion from here on. Or something very close to a concussion. And very pretty hair.
Hi, Uriel! (I think that’s his name anyway.) Gotta love Christian having friends willing to come beat him up.
And go Molly! “I don’t like what I see.”
Nate handing over the chip…hope you have a plan.
“I don’t wait. I’m coming for you, Molly.” Mmm love him stripping off the jacket. Pissed off Eliot is hawt
Dude what is with him getting the shit kicked out of himself?
Also ow…breaking mirrors with your hands hurts.
Again seriously love the cinematography here. And I’m just gonna watch the fight. What can I say? I’m easy…I love well-choreographed fights.
Blind fighting FTW
(Randomly his hair is really fluffly—what’s up with that?)
Aaaaww he hugs her and then she helps him out…cuz dayam he is beaten up.
Did she just call him Perky?!
Ha! The car! Awesome! I love it!
Parker punching Eliot!
He hired a nurse *snorts* “I don’t think she’s registered.” Nooo probably not, Hardison.
Aaawww Hardison. He made Parker a gadget. And he never wants to replace her. And Parker is hugging her. She’s gonna call her “Hardy”. LOL “She shall be called Hardy.” They are too adorable!
Okay there is NO Leverage next week. Just saying. And now I’m going to go…do other stuff…I won’t TMI y’all and tell you what.
And clearly I have Leverage on my brain because when I went to pull up the website to post this, I typed www.leverage.com instead of www.livejournal.com FMB

3/8/11 02:46 (UTC)I loved the part where the camera kept cirlcing Eliot while he talked. I can't explain why, but it really worked.
Hardison taking that extra minute to look at Parker on the camera. So sweet.
Thanks for the recapt! BTW, I also love Jeaopardy! and H50. We should share a TV!

3/8/11 04:41 (UTC)Oh man, Nate (and Tim) is made of ridiculousness. But also awesomeness.
I loved the part where the camera kept cirlcing Eliot while he talked. I can't explain why, but it really worked.
I seriously love the cinematographers they've got here. It's not a trick that works all the time, but it worked well here.
Hardison taking that extra minute to look at Parker on the camera. So sweet.
Absolutely. I really like all the little stuff they're doing with Parker and Hardison this season.
Thanks for the recapt! BTW, I also love Jeaopardy! and H50. We should share a TV!
I live with and take care of my gramma. We watch Jeopardy almost every night. Hee hee! We should. I watch a ton of other shows too. :-)

3/8/11 04:19 (UTC)When Molly called him Perky he came back with "Right back atcha Pertasky" or something like that. It sounds like a movie quote but I came up blank.
There was a lot to love with this episode, even with the severe ass whoopin' Eliot got.

3/8/11 04:47 (UTC)I think it was the book quote and a reference to what they were talking about earlier.
There really was! I felt for him. It's not to see he's not invincible though.

3/8/11 07:03 (UTC)I think it's fun that Eliot running into all those people he knows this season, I mean he called the dude by name, so they obviously know each other.
The fighting was awesome. Every part of it.
I didn't like the end though. Why the hell is nobody helping Eliot? The man can barely walk, people.
And no, not a fan of the H&P thing, too much for my taste. I think we should for once have a team ending, not a couple ending. :(

Hahah I know! Although in this case, I was yelling a name because the guy--the fighter--is actually a friend of Christian's. There's a clip on TNT.com with them talking about filming this fight. Then first season--in the 1st David Job--the guy that beat Eliot up is one of Christian's best friends. And in Tap Out Job--the one fighter is a good friend of Christian's. So CK keeps getting his friends to come beat him up. It kinda amuses me.
The fighting was awesome. Every part of it.
It really way. It is extremely difficult to fight using just your other senses and not seeing what you're doing.
I didn't like the end though. Why the hell is nobody helping Eliot? The man can barely walk, people.
I think that goes back to Eliot being more of a loner than the rest of the team. Honestly I'd be afraid to offer him help unless he asked for it--he's the type that would bite off that hand that feeds you. They most likely know he doesn't want it and so therefore don't offer it.
And no, not a fan of the H&P thing, too much for my taste. I think we should for once have a team ending, not a couple ending. :(
Well we sorta had a team ending. And I kinda like the H&P thing...although S&N I do not like because I think that has the opportunity to blow up in the team's face. And I really hope they don't exclude Eliot if they do become a couple. Although he went off with his "nurse" so I do believe he was all good. *coughs leers*

3/8/11 14:36 (UTC)Still don't like that they don't help him. He accepted help from Molly...and they didn't even try.
As for the couple thing, I figure we have different opinions (but that's okay, at least I don't mind people feeling differently). I prefer S&N, they've thrown that at us for 3 years now, I'm kind of used to it already. And it feels more subtle to me than P&H. I feel they're really pushing P&H now. But that's my personal opinion. Didn't like the "nurse" thing either - I always enjoyed the "I dated a 'fill a profession'" he had going. We don't need to see them. I guess I have to wait and see how it develops.

Yeah I don't know what to say. He was also hugging Molly. *shrugs* I guess they just didn't feel they could.
I don't mind people having different opinions either as long as they don't say "My opinion is the only right one."
Yup we'll just have to see how it plays out. But :-( No Leverage next week. And I'm kinda bummed Falling Skies is over already. And Franklin & Bash. TNT you're failing me with these short seasons!
