Bookstore Trip

emocezi recommended to me. And since I had two coupons I wanted to use them...um 80 some dollars later I walked out.
On the plus side? I saved almost 28 dollars...but seriously...do not let me go into a bookstore people. I wasn't supposed to go until I finished Writo de Mayo.

So anyway, the books I got:

River Marked by Patricia Briggs
The Native Star by M.K. Hobson
Green-Eyed Demon by Jaye Wells (this is book 3 of a series--I have the other two and have almost finished them)
Horse Soldiers by Doug Stanton (this was my steal--it was on the bargain rack for 2.99)
Write Starts by Hal Zina Bennett
Plot vs Character by Jeff Gerke
*sighs* And now I need to go get dressed and go shopping again since I didn't get everything done yesterday.

8/5/11 19:08 (UTC)I've been known to purr while ordering books from Amazon, particularly when several of my favorite authors all have books coming out about the same time. Many of my favorite writers share the same publishing house, so it happens that way fairly often.
How is the Write Starts book working out? DO you find it helpful? Or have you actually started it yet?

8/5/11 19:23 (UTC)LOL I have the same problem. And I read a lot of the same genre so I often get the same issue.
I haven't used it yet...I got home at like 11pm and then I was up until 2:30 but so tired that I didn't want to write or do anything else. I'll probably skim through it over the next few days and maybe post some of the ones I like. Or even use a couple for my Writo de Mayo days.
