The second of my answers from the meme posted here Hopefully I'll get the last of them finished soon.
Welcome, Wet, Waiting, Want, Whimpers from wings128
Glancing up at the clock, she counted down the hours she’d been waiting. It wouldn’t be much longer until Colin returned and she looked forward to welcoming him home. She enjoyed her time alone, but she missed his warm weight in bed and the comforting sounds of another person in the house with her.
She shifted on the couch, deciding she didn’t want to rest on the uncomfortable piece of furniture when Colin returned. She had no idea what possessed him to purchase it. But for some reason he had and he refused to get rid of it.
Getting to her feet, she made her way to their bedroom, dropping her robe onto the chair next to the bed. Slipping into the bed, she wondered how much longer it would be before she’d have his strong hands on her body.
Lying there, she glided her own hands down her body, remembering the last time they were together. A wetness grew between her legs as one hand drifted back up and rubbed her nipple through the silk of her nightgown. She whimpered at the touch, arching her back.
“Well, this is definitely a better welcome home than I was expecting,” a familiar voice said. “Hello, Zoe.”
She squeaked at the words, her hands jerking away from her body as her eyes rose to see him standing in the doorway. “Colin,” she breathed.
“Don’t stop on my account,” he said as he leaned against the door frame. “I’ve half a mind to tell you to keep going.”
“Don’t you dare!” She held her hand out to him. “I missed you.”
He grinned in response. “I missed you, too, love.” Striding into the room, he pulled his t-shirt over his head, tossing it aside as he reached the bed.
She reached up, gripping his biceps and pulling him towards her. “I’ve been waiting for you.”
“Oh, I’m well aware of that.” His smile turned to a smirk as he tumbled into bed with her, both of their hands moving to fight with his belt. “Little eager there?”
“Like you aren’t?” she questioned. She moaned as his hand brushed the silk that covered where she wanted his touch. “Colin.”
“Soon,” he promised. He kicked his jeans away, pushing the silk up.
They both groaned as Colin slid into her; her inner walls clenching around him. He braced himself above her as he angled himself to slide across her clit. Zoe grabbed his biceps again, digging her fingers in as she arched her hips up into his. Colin tilted his head down, brushing a kiss across her lips as he pushed back into her. Zoe rolled her hips as much as she was able, almost laughing as he drew back at her movement. “Minx,” he groaned.
“You love it,” she replied, then gasped as he rubbed across her clit.
There was no more talking as Colin slipped his thumb in beside his penis, stroking Zoe. She grabbed his biceps, digging her fingers in as she clenched around him. A moment later, he groaned as he emptied himself into her.
She snuggled up against him as he rolled to his side. “I’m glad you’re home,” she told him.
“Well I’m glad to be home.” Colin smoothed her hair down. “I love you.”
“I love you, too.” She pressed a kiss to the side of her throat which was all she could reach. “Sleep now.”
Colin grinned. “Yeah. Sleep now, love.”
magic, magnificent, mile, magnitude, magnesium from chrismouse
The flare of magnesium burst up, making shadows dance across the walls. Eli moved backwards, watching the cauldron carefully. His feline familiar eyed him from his perch atop the bookshelves. “I think you’re doing it wrong,” the not-cat commented.
“I know how to do magic,” Eli replied.
“Not of this magnitude the not-cat snarked.
“Kyrah, if you aren’t going to be helpful, you can just be silent. I’m trying to concentrate.”
“Oh, yes, I know you are so magnificent,” the familiar said sarcastically.
“Kyrah,” Eli snapped, tossing the last ingredient into the pot.
There was a muffled pop, then orange smoke began pouring from the cauldron. A moment later a loud boom echoed through the room.
The not-cat’s ears straightened up from where he’d flattened them against his head. “I think they heard that for a mile.”
“Shut up, Kyrah.”
