shanachie_quillSince for some reason I am unable to post on NanoLJers for Writo de Mayo, I figured I’d keep track of what I’m doing and how things are going this month here on my journal.
Day One
I wrote 260 words on my original fic bouncy bridge. Got a nice start on it.
Day Two
Got another 139 words on my bouncy bridge fic. Did not reach my word goal for the day unfortunately. :-(
Day Three
Finished the bouncy bridge fic, titled it and posted it as An Exciting Adventure. Also worked on my Tommy/Ollie fic for a total of 349 words.
Day Four
Hardly any words today :-( Only 9 in total on Bond/Q. I also took a picture of my writing space and posted it looking for suggestions on what to do with it. I’m stymied since I can’t move a lot of the electronics, but hopefully I’ll be able to work something out.
Day Five
Wrote 920 and finished Creeping Worry so that's two stories off my list and done for the month. Yay me.
Day Six
Started Tony and Pepper and baby makes 3. Got 429 words. New story, but still one from my list so I don't feel guilty at all.
Day Seven
Applied to 7 jobs from Monster.com. 855 words on Tony and Pepper and baby makes 3.
Day Eight
Applied to 3 jobs from Monster.com. Wrote 394 words on Pendants.
Day Nine

Day Eleven
Wrote 234 words on Darcy and Will.
Day Twelve
Day Thirteen
Wrote 700 words on Tommy & Ollie and Team Bonding Movie Night
Day Fourteen
Applied to 7 jobs. Wrote 708 words on Entertaining Ariana.
Day Fifteen
562 words on Entertaining Ariana and Darcy and Will.
Day Sixteen
728 words on Darcy and Will.
Day Seventeen
685 words on Darcy and Will which finished it!! And that's my third story of list for the one goal actually I know fourth but technically one wasn't on the list.

573 words on the pendants story in Castle sentinel verse.
Day Twenty-One
A combined 1448 words on the pendants story and also a new Haven story which finished both of them. So two new finished stories. Only one was actually on my list though. But oh well. So Cuddling Conundrum (Haven story) and Willing, Unhappy to Wait (Castle sentinel verse) both finished and posted.
And since I can't remember the last time I updated/posted on my fic lists were...I'm going to delete them. I'll do something at some point and make new ones, but I see no reason to have them taking up space when I don't update them.
Day Twenty-Two
Wrote 164 words on Pre-Malibu so didn't reach my goal, but at least I wrote.
Day Twenty-Three
Didn't write due to a migraine, but updated my resume/profile on Monster.com and revamped my searches--although I still want to fix it a little bit. So I did accomplish something.
Day Twenty-Four
417 words on Pre-Malibu.
Day Twenty-Five
225 words on Pre-Malibu.
Day Twenty-Six
305 words on Attack of the Chicken--an original story for the NaNoLJers prompt. I didn't quite get it finished, but it didn't matter since our Internet was out due to a power surge.
Day Twenty-Seven
223 words on Attack of the Chicken and Pre-Malibu. These words finished Attack of the Chicken and I posted it.
Day Twenty-Eight
Only 24 words today on Pre-Malibu. I just couldn't get motivated at all.
Day Twenty-Nine
240 words on Pre-Malibu. I'm not sure what I'm doing with this anymore. It's not going/doing what I planned...so I'm just kinda...poking away at it. I think I might switch to something else tonight and then go back to it later.
Day Thirty
Wrote 214 words on Hunting an Abnormal. I was hoping to get a bit farther, but couldn't seem to get any traction.
Day Thirty-One
Still no traction on Hunting an Abnormal but another 170 words.
Writo de Mayo Round-Up
So for the month of May:
I wrote a total of 10,975 words
I finished 7 stories
I had 6 days of no writing at all (so I did not meet my goal of writing every day)
I had 5 days of not meeting my word count of 200 words per day.
I edited one story for a friend (who has posted it for her Reverse Big Bang).
I finished 2 original stories and 5 fanfic stories.
I worked on a total of 13 stories (finishing 7)
I applied for 17 jobs and updated my profile for Monster.com
So all in all not a terrible month.
Day One
