Author's Note: So. This is not quite finished, although the way things are going, it’s going to be finished pretty soon (and hopefully I didn’t just jinx myself), but I thought since you enjoyed the bit of wee! Will and wee!Clint, that I would begin posting the story. I’m going to break this up into chapters; probably through my breaks already in place. This takes place after both the Avenger and MI4 movies so there are spoilers for both through-out the story.

Clint was cradling a mug smelling of thick, rich coffee when Will stumbled into the kitchen the next morning. Without a word, he pushed a second mug towards his cousin and waited until Will had downed half of it to speak, “A few of us try to go to a local diner at least once a week for breakfast. You want to go with?”

“Am I getting food if I don’t go?” Will replied.

Clint waved a hand at the refrigerator, then seemed to reconsider. “Never mind I’ve seen you cook. You’re coming to breakfast. Go get dressed.”

By the time Will reappeared, dressed this time in jeans and a dark teal button down shirt, Clint had gotten the information on who was going to breakfast. He slipped his phone into his back pocket as he snagged a pair of sunglasses; tossing a second pair to Will. “What’re these for?”

“I’m not exactly incognito these days, cuz. You might want them,” Clint replied. “Especially since we’re going out with big, blonde, and All-American. And we might have big, blonde, and thunderous.”

“I don’t want to know, do I?” Will asked as he followed Clint.

“I don’t know, do you?” Clint grinned.

“Don’t start that.” Will pointed a finger at him. “We are not twelve anymore.”

The cousins bickered good-naturedly the rest of the way down to street level and Will could feel the tension from the last few missions easing out of him, along with his worry over his cousin. Despite everything he could see that Clint felt secure here and had settled into a life. A small knot of people were waiting as they exited the elevator and the group turned at the sound of their voices. The dark haired girl shrieked at the sight of them, running over to meet them. “Oh. My. God. You two are identical!” she squealed.

Will and Clint exchanged glances. “Because that didn’t get old by the time we were like eight,” Clint commented dryly. “Darcy Lewis, Will Brandt. My cousin.”

Darcy grabbed Will’s arm, slipping her own through it, and began to drag him away. “Soooo. You must have tons of dirt on Clint. Spill.”

Will threw a semi-terrified look over his shoulder at Clint as she pulled him towards the exit. “Help?”

Clint stifled a laugh at his expression, calling after him, “You’re big, bad, secret agent man. Help yourself.” Glancing around he realized a couple of people were missing from the list he’d gotten. “Hey, Darce. Where’s Jane?”

Darcy turned around, but didn’t release her hold on Will. Making a face she answered, “Thor’s back. No way was I going anywhere near Jane’s room.”

“Makes sense. Don’t torture Will too much, okay? He’s supposed to be on vacation. Oh and please don’t taze him.”

She grinned in response. “Okay, Birdy.”

“Taze? Wait. What? Clint!” Whatever else Will said was swallowed up by the door closing behind them.

Natasha shook her head when Clint turned to look at her. “You shouldn’t be so mean to him.”

“Aw if he can’t handle Darcy, he shouldn’t be working for IMF,” Clint responded. “Are we waiting for anyone else?”

“No, we’re ready,” Steve answered. “When did your cousin get here?”

“Yesterday,” Clint answered. “He had a few days and decided to surprise me.”

“It’s always good to see family,” Steve commented, causing Clint to murmur something in agreement.

They’d been to the diner often enough that the regulars had gotten over the excitement of having the Avengers eat at their restaurant. Even the addition of Will didn’t cause more than a double take by a few of them and then they went back to their own breakfasts. Dottie, their regular waitress, came over as they sat down. "Should I be concerned that Mr. Stark is experimenting again?” she asked looking from Clint to Will and back again as she flipped coffee cups and filled them.

“Not this time,” Clint answered. “This is my cousin, Will. He’s visiting for a coupla days.”

Dottie eyed them for a minute, but she’d gotten used to the group coming in with various stories and sometimes even injuries, so she just nodded before taking their orders. “We need to find a place like that near home,” Will commented once she was out of earshot.

“You live near your team now?” Clint asked as he reached across the table for the sugar.

“Not all of them, no, but our tech isn’t too far from me. And honestly our team leader could find trouble walking across the street so he’s actually not…” Will paused. “Huh, actually I guess I do. Wonder when that happened?”

Clint laughed, turning it into a cough when Will glared at him. “Look at you all domesticated, cuz.”

“I can still kick your ass,” Will threatened.

“I’ll sic Natasha on you,” Clint returned.

“Don’t get me involved in your family squabbles,” Natasha replied. “Or I will take you drinking again.”

The boys groaned in unison. “No, anything but that,” Will said. “Seriously. You can kick my ass around the ring, but do not take me drinking.”

“Wow, you two are just loads of entertainment,” Darcy broke in. “Seriously, can I like record you?”

“No,” they answered in unison.

Darcy was still pouting a few minutes later when Dottie returned with the first of their plates of food. As she began passing them out, Steve engaged Will in a discussion of the countries he’d visited recently; comparing them to the ones the Super Soldier had seen or wanted to visit. Clint leaned back in his chair as he surveyed the group; making sure everyone was safe and accounted for.

Darcy and Natasha were trading bacon and fruit just like they did every time. He still couldn’t figure out why they both didn’t just order it if that was what they wanted, but it worked for them. Steve and Will were using the condiments on the table to detail something; a battle Steve had been involved in on second glance and Clint was glad Steve had someone who might actually get the on the ground tactics that Steve had used. Bruce had produced a tablet from somewhere and was scrolling through some notes, picking at his breakfast with his free hand. Satisfied that all was well, Clint turned his attention to his own food.

The group was lingering over the last of the food when an entering group caught Clint’s attention. He nudged Will with his foot; drawing the other man’s attention. “Expecting company?” he drawled.

Will raised his head, then sunk lower in his seat, groaning. “I don’t want to know how they found me, but I’m sure Benji had something to do with it.”

“Wanna duck out the back?” Clint offered. “We can run interference.”

“No. It’s better if I face it head on. Ethan’s a force of nature on a good day.” Will straightened up in his chair, but made no move to leave his seat or make himself more visible. And considering he was sitting opposite Captain America; he had a lot of bulk to hide behind.

The man in the lead, whom Clint had recognized as Ethan Hunt almost immediately, spied the group in the back and made a beeline for them. He was clearly heading for Clint and the sniper made no effort to avoid his hand as it reached for his shirt. Ethan hauled Clint out of his chair, shaking him none too gently before demanding, "What were you thinking?"

"Umm I'm thinking?" Clint drawled in reply as he focused on the lack of weapons pointed at him. "That you want him." He indicated Will with his fork.

Will wiggled his fingers, grinning at Ethan from his seat on the bench. “Mind putting my cousin down, Hunt? Before someone stabs you for manhandling him?”

Benji’s ginger head poked around their team leader, looking from Clint to Will and back again a few times, before exclaiming, “Hey! There’s two Wills!”

“I am NOT Will!” Clint yelped, twisting in Ethan’s hold, but not trying very hard to break it, since he didn’t get released.

“Well, technically I am older,” Will pointed out.

“Shut it, Brandt.” Clint pointed to his chest with the fork he still held. “I. Am unique.”

“Well, you’re certainly something.” Will eyed Natasha, who was looking at Ethan, with barely disguised annoyance. “Seriously, Ethan. Let him go. You’re about ten seconds away from Natasha stabbing you. And she doesn’t play nicely.”

Ethan looked from the man he was holding to his operative then back to the man again. “You really aren’t Will?” he asked.

“Nope. Really not Will. I can see where you’d make the mistake though. Not many people can tell us apart,” Clint answered.

Natasha tapped Ethan on the thigh with a knife. “Wanna let go of my partner, please? I really don’t like people other than me manhandling him.”

“She’s saying ‘please’, I’d let… Never mind.” Clint had clearly gotten tired of being held up by his shirt collar because he twisted and ended up on the other side of the bench. Ethan blinked as he tried to figure out what had happened. “Will, I thought you said this was your boss?”

“No. I said he was our team leader. And what the hell are you three doing here anyway?” Will demanded.

“We were worried. You just dropped off the grid. And didn’t tell anyone where you were going. You can’t do that, Will! We had no idea where you were!” Benji babbled.

Will dug a familiar phone out of his pocket and waved it at Benji. “I still have my phone, Benj. You could have called. Rather than showing up here.”

Jane grinned at Will. “The boys wanted to see where you’d disappeared to. I came along to make sure they didn’t cause an international incident.”

“Oh we’re only allowed to cause those on duty?” Will replied, matching her grin.

“Is that a common thing?” Steve questioned.

“More common than it should be,” Will admitted. He turned back to his team. “So you know I’m safe so you can leave now.”

Ethan considered the group of people at the table, his dark blue eyes flicking over them and obviously categorizing each of them. “No,” he said slowly. “No. I think we could all use a vacation.”

“I’m sure Tony wouldn’t mind finding room for all of you at the Tower,” Steve offered. “You can at least come back with us and we can talk with him.”

Clint shook his head as the group got ready to leave. “Oh, this is not going to end well,” he muttered to Will.
