Interesting to hear that. It's just, in my mind, no matter how AU or OOC the story is, McG is always guy's guy. The most alpha male could ever existed in the world. And in your story he is back in his youth, all cute and sweet and innocent ( i said once in another comment I don't think the word innocent should ever attached to McG :) ) it's just make me smile.
