Isn't it great when characters hijack the story? :)

I don't know much about watching people surf, personally. I grew up in LA, but all the beaches had crappy surf, so if I ever saw anyway surfing at one of my beaches, it was pretty easy to spot them because they were likely the only one out there. lol I suppose Deeks would be harder to pick out if he went to a more popular spot and he wasn't the only one surfing.

Thanks for the movie rec - I'd never even heard of that one! Oh man... makes me long for an AU with Gibbs and Deeks meeting while surfing. Ha ha!
